Japan vehicle sales totaled 513,125 units for July, up 37.5% vs. July 2011. Sales last year were dramatically low due to the earthquake and tsunami.
July 2012 sales increased 1.5% compared with June 2012.
2012 sales through July totaled 3,460,482, up 51.0% over the same period in 2011.
Toyota was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 1,081,834, resulting in a 31.3% market share.
