- Russia vehicle sales totaled 245,542 units for September 2011, up 23.4% vs. September 2010. This increase is a result of the government scrappage system and the recovery of Russia’s economy.
- September 2011 vehicle sales increased 4.8% compared with August 2011 sales.
- 2011 sales through September totaled 2,009,302. This was up 43.7% over the same period in 2010.
- AutoVaz was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 443,917, resulting in a 22.1% market share.
