Russia vehicle sales totaled 183,518 units for June 2010, up 46.4% vs. June 2009. The government’s continuing scrappage program led to this increase.
June 2010 vehicle sales increased 10.2% compared with May 2010 sales.
2010 sales through June totaled 832,937. This was up 4.0% over the same period in 2009.
OAO AvtoVAZ was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 220,774, resulting in a 26.5% market share.
