South Korea Vehicle Sales Down 5.3% in December

South Korea vehicle sales totaled 137,968 units for December 2011, down 5.3% vs. December 2010.

December 2011 vehicle sales increased 10.3% compared with November 2011 sales.

2011 sales through December totaled 1,579,674, up 1.5% over the same period in 2010.

Hyundai is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 684,157, resulting in a 43.3% market share.
