Spain Vehicle Sales Up 14.3% in August

Spain vehicle sales totaled 52,368 units for August 2014, up 14.3% vs. August 2013.

August 2014 vehicle sales decreased 45.3% compared with July 2014 sales. The European holiday likely contributed to the drop.

2014 sales through August totaled 667,388, up 18.4% over the same period in 2013.

Volkswagen is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 123,036, resulting in an 18.4% market share.
