- September vehicle sales increased 417.1% vs. August 2011 sales. The large increase is due to the beginning of a new license plate cycle.
- 2011 sales through September totaled 1,786,313. This was down 2.5% over the same period in 2010.
- Ford was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 271,108, resulting in a 15.2% market share.
