U.K. Vehicle Sales Up 16.2% in October

U.K. vehicle sales totaled 215,259 units for October 2014, up 16.2% vs. October 2013.

October 2014 vehicle sales decreased 55.2% compared with September 2014 sales.

2014 sales through October totaled 2,446,815. This was up 10.0% over the same period in 2013.

Ford was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 358,094, resulting in a 14.6% market share.
