U.K. Vehicle Sales Up 9.2% in July

U.K. vehicle sales totaled 166,690 units for July 2012, up 9.2% vs. July 2011.

July vehicle sales decreased 22.8% vs. June 2012 sales.

2012 sales through July totaled 1,371,243. This was up 2.6% over the same period in 2011.

Ford was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 208,123, resulting in a 15.2% market share.
