Bank of America Auto Group continues its expansion in the Northeast by naming a regional leadership team and planning to open a new office in the Boston area.

The office will serve as a base of operations initially for 21 sales and credit associates. Plans are to grow with the expanding needs of the market, says Group President Tim Russi.

The Auto Group expanded into the Northeast earlier this year with operations in nine states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Russi named Brent Hollingsworth as regional retail sales manager. He most recently managed the Group's retail relationships in Florida.

He'll lead a team of specialists appointed to build retail market share in the Northeast, where the bank in the first 90 days of operations there formed nearly 250 new automotive dealer client relationships.

Other appointments:

  • David Doucette becomes region commercial sales manager.

  • John Andrews is dealer services center director for the new Northeast Retail Credit Center.

Says Russi, "The combined leadership skills, financial expertise and market knowledge of these individuals will position us to deliver world-class financial service to our clients.”
