A woman who started her automotive career as a dealership porter is the new director of fixed operations and income development at NAC, an extended-service contract firm.
Margaret Chandler will oversee implementation and training for NAC Service Drive Solution, in which dealers sell their own private-label service contracts.
“Service is what keeps the dealership's lights on, but is so often overlooked, Chandler says.
Previous stints in her 27-year career include dealership service director and service-department consultant.
Assets in making the program work are Chandler's background and ability to “speak the same language” as service department personnel, NAC says.
That's where Margaret's career and extensive service department experience came into play,” says Randy Pazik, Vice President of Sales for NAC.
