Ford, Fiat Pair Up On Small Cars
Ford Motor Co. and Fiat SpA will collaborate on two new small cars, in an effort to reduce development and material costs. Fiat's model will replace its Seicento minicar when it debuts in late 2007, while Ford says its version will bow in 2008 and replace the aging Ka entry-level car.
