Ford Motor Co. Vice President Al Ver announces he will retire at the end of the year after a 35-year stint with the auto maker.
In his current assignment, Ver serves as CEO of Automotive Components Holdings LLC, which is composed of orphaned manufacturing plants and other facilities Ford acquired from former subsidiary Visteon Corp. in 2005.
Prior to his assignment at ACH, Ver served as vice president for Ford’s Advanced Manufacturing Engineering organization.
He began his career at Ford in 1972 as a manufacturing process engineer at the auto maker’s Mt. Clemens, MI, paint plant.
