New Ford C-Max to Bow in Frankfurt.

Ford of Europe plans to debut the all-new Ford C-Max cross/utility vehicle at this month’s Frankfurt auto show.

The C-Max, which borrows styling cues from the Iosis Max concept car shown at this year’s Geneva auto show, will be launched in Europe in the second half of 2010.

The new C-Max is powered by an all-new 1.6L turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine. Ford has yet to announce whether the C-Max will make its way to North America.

The C-Max will be the first vehicle based on Ford’s new global C-segment platform. Ford plans to introduce a new global Focus based on the platform at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
