Florida dealer hosts racing show

AutoCity Buick-Pontiac-GMC of Homestead, FL was the host dealer for the Pontiac Grand Prix Racing Road Show, which took place in conjunction with the NASCAR Winston Cup race run at the city's race track.

The display featured Ernie Irvan's M&M show car, a Grand Prix pace car, a 2000 Bonneville and a "flammed" Grand Prix GTP coupe. The dealership also supplied vehicles. Sales associates answered interested race fans' questions.

Dealer Lomberto Perez is continuing a racing tradition that he started as owner of a dealership near the Pamona, CA, drag strip when he supp-orted manufacturer events associated with NHRA races.
