Honda Offers Peek at ’22 Civic Sedan
The sedan, previewed last November with the Civic Prototype and arriving at dealerships this summer, is the most technologically advanced Civic in its nearly 50-year history, Honda says.
Honda releases an exterior image of the ’22 Civic sedan as preparations for the start of mass production at Honda of Canada Mfg. in Alliston, ON, Canada, near completion.
The 11th-generation Civic sedan, previewed last November with the Civic Prototype and arriving at dealerships this summer, is the most technologically advanced Civic in its nearly 50-year history, Honda says.
“Inspired by the timeless design and human-focused values of past Civics, designers and engineers prioritized Honda's human-centered design philosophy, which maximizes the total environment for the driver and passengers, while minimizing the space needed for mechanical components,” the automaker says.
The Honda Civic Tour, meanwhile, returns on April 28. For its 20th anniversary, the Civic Tour is going virtual, with two tour stops. The April 28 headline event will be live streamed on the Live Nation Channel on Twitch, and the second stop will be live streamed on the Honda Stage YouTube channel this summer.
As previously announced, the all-new Civic hatchback will follow sedan production by several months. The model will be built at the company's Indiana auto plant, making it the first Civic hatch to be manufactured in the U.S. Details will follow later this year.
More information about the all-new Civic sedan, including photography, video and specifications, will be released April 28.
