Hyundai’s restyled ‘12 model Santa Fe compact cross/utility vehicle hit the market in Korea over the weekend.
The model will be available in all export markets, but a spokesman says the rollout schedule has not been firmed up.
The updated model features a new stylized radiator grille, new headlamps and positioning lamps that give it a sleeker appearance that better fits the Hyundai fluidic-styling approach.
Other features include 18-in. aluminum wheels, black high-gloss roof side rails, wood grain inner panels and suede-leather seats.
The Santa Fe, which also is built in the U.S., is being offered in Korea with two diesel engines.
Gasoline engines will be available only in other markets.
The front-drive version is priced at 27.1 million-33.4 million won ($25,370-$31,358) with the 2.0L engine and 31.5 million-35.6 million won ($29,507-$33,418) with the 2.2L diesel.
Four-wheel-drive versions are offered only with the 2.2L and are priced at 31.3 million-34.7 million ($29,382-$32,556).
