Ward's won three national awards and a regional honor in the recent 28th Annual Awards of Excellence, hosted by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
Earning silver awards in the national competition were the Wardsauto.com website in the original web database category and the “State of the Industry, Parts 1 and 2” package, which appeared in the November and December 2005 issues of Ward's AutoWorld magazine.
Contributing to the “State of the Industry” feature were Barbara McClellan, Tom Murphy, Christie Schweinsberg, Eric Mayne and Adrienne Janhevich.
Editor Drew Winter won a bronze award in the national competition for his editorial titled, “Appliances, Get Angry, which appeared in May 2005.
In the Midwest-South regional competition, Murphy won a silver award for his “Saving Delphi” cover story for the November 2005 issue.
