AutoTrader.com has been asking its web site visitors which presidential candidate they would buy a used car from.
Thirty nine percent of the respondents said they'd buy from George W. Bush, 34% said Al Gore.
As if the first question weren't off-beat enough, AutoTrader asked people if Mssrs. Bush and Gore were themselves used cars, what models would they be.
In the largest tallies, nearly 20% say Mr. Bush would be a Hummer, 27% say a Volvo station wagon would best represent Mr. Gore.
