Karenann Terrell, chief information officer for Chrysler Group and Mercedes-Benz in North America, is leaving the company April 7 for a position outside the industry.

Since joining DaimlerChrysler AG from General Motors Corp. in 2000, Terrell has managed the auto maker’s information technology assets in North America.
