Freelander 2 Bows at British Motor Show
The Freelander 2 will range in price from £22,000 ($41,090) to £30,000 ($50,031), Land Rover says.

Land Rover unveils its new Freelander 2 SUV at the British International Motor Show.
The small SUV is new from the ground up and boasts “outstanding on-road performance” and “class-leading off-road ability,” Land Rover says.
“We’ve been delighted with the level of interest shown in the new Freelander 2,” says Andy Griffiths, Land Rover’s U.K. marketing director.
“Not only have visitors been making a beeline to our stand to see the car in the metal for the first time, but we’ve had thousands of people asking for more details about it. We’re confident many of those inquiries will turn into sales. It’s been a real successful show for us.”
The Freelander 2 will be available with either a 2.2L 4-cyl. diesel engine or a 3.2L inline 6-cyl. gasoline mill.
