London Motor Show Gets Return Engagement for 2017
Organizers consider this year’s event a huge success, with more than 25,000 people in attendance.
The London Motor Show is returning to Battersea Park in 2017 after this year’s inaugural event was held May 6-8 and attracted 25,000 visitors, with weekend tickets sold out.
The 2017 show will run May 4-7 with more than 150 new cars from major manufacturers and dealerships, including Tesla, Aston Martin, Fiat, Hyundai, Nissan and Zenos.
A selection of iconic historic vehicles will be displayed, showcasing the heritage of some of the world’s best-loved marques.
Show goers will see the latest industry technology through exhibits from companies displaying developments related to safety, electric vehicles, fuel alternatives and driverless cars.
Show Chairman Alec Mumford says this year’s inaugural event exceeded organizers’ expectations.
“With sellout crowds over the weekend, close to 100 test drives arranged and numerous key models sold, it was a success for both ourselves as organizers and our exhibitors,” Mumford says in a statement.
