TAIPEI – Following its acquisition of Jaguar Cars and Land Rover from Ford Motor Co., India’s Tata Group announces it will dissolve the Taiwan subsidiaries of the two brands.
Taking over local distribution duties July 1 will be Chiuoho Motor Co. Ltd., which served as the local distributor for the two brands prior to the creation of Jaguar Taiwan and Land Rover Asia in 2000 and 2002, respectively.
Chiuoho will concentrate on importing fuel-efficient diesel-engine models such as Jaguar XF 2.7L and Land Rover Sport TDV8.
