Infiniti’s ad for the ʼ19 QX50 tops iSpot.tv’s latest ranking of the most-viewed automotive commercials – the ads that have racked up the highest number of impressions across national broadcast and cable TV airings.

At No.1 for the week of March 12-18 is the Infiniti spot proclaiming the QX50 is the most advanced Infiniti ever made, with the world’s first variable-compression-turbo engine that “sprints when you sprint” and “calms when you calm.”

Land Rover takes second place with an ad titled “The Dragon Challenge” that shows a professional driver taking the ’18 Land Rover Sport through Tianmen Mountain Road’s 99 turns and 999 steps to triumphantly arrive at a peak called Heaven’s Gate in China’s Hunan province.

Third place goes to Jeep with a cinematic spot illustrating how its models have “captivating exteriors, dynamic lighting, elevated comfort.” It also announces a Spring Sales Event in which qualified lessees can get the ’18 Cherokee Trailhawk for $291 a month.

Kia’s commercial featuring Brazilian racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi comes in at No. 4; it’s been on the chart for a few weeks but still manages to score the best iSpot Attention Index (171) in the ranking, getting 71% fewer interruptions than the average auto ad (interruptions include changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).

Chevrolet rounds out the chart with its ad that highlights first-time Chevy owners and shows how “trying something new can be exciting, empowering — downright exhilarating.” The spot also says customers can lease the ’18 Cruze LT for $169 a month or receive a $4,500 cash allowance when they purchase.
