But we do know that Recaro, the German specialty seat maker pushing heavily for more North American business, plays a bit role in the space thriller summer movie, "Armageddon," starring Bruce Willis. The company's name is emblazoned on the four-seat moon rovers that Willis and crew drive across a run-away asteroid they want to blow up before it collides with Earth. The vehicles are, of course, equipped with Recaro SPG-Racer seats, which the company assures can withstand an exploding asteroid. This isn't the first on-screen appearance for Recaro, whose seats have supported the backsides of notables such as James Bond and Star Trek captains.
