Toyota Interior Supplier to Locate in Woodstock

Toyota Boshoku says it will provide seats, door trim and carpet for the RAV4, investing C$65 million ($57.8 million) and creating 330 jobs in the process.

Toyota Boshoku Corp. will locate a plant in Woodstock, Ont., Canada, to supply interior parts for the Toyota RAV4 cross/utility vehicle, to be built beginning in 2008 in Woodstock.

Toyota Boshoku says it will provide seats, door trim and carpet for the RAV4, investing C$65 million ($57.8 million) and creating 330 jobs in the process.

The supplier estimates 150,000 units annually of interior parts will be produced at the new Woodstock plant, which is the supplier’s first wholly owned seat-manufacturing plant in North America.
