All three versions of the all-new Hyundai Ioniq will mark their global debuts at the Geneva auto show next week.

The Ioniq hybrid, already unveiled in Korea, will be on stage alongside the Ioniq plug-in hybrid and Ioniq EV. Hyundai has not released a sales target for the full range. However, a spokesman tells WardsAuto the 2016 target for the Ioniq hybrid is 77,000 vehicles.

Hyundai has not released pricing details of the EV variant, but it is expected to be in the range of 40 million-43 million won ($33,300-$34,800) before government subsidies.

The global sales target for the EV has not been revealed, but Hyundai reportedly is eyeing volume of just 4,000 units this year in Korea. The EV won’t be seen in Korea until the International Electric Vehicle Expo on Jeju Island in mid-March. It will arrive at local dealers soon after.

The EV variant’s 117-hp motor can take the car to a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h). Powered by a 28-kWh lithium-ion battery produced by LG, the Ioniq EV has a range of 104 miles (168 km) using the Korean test cycle, which is comparable to the European cycle. The range is on par with the Nissan Leaf’s 106 miles (172 km).

The Ioniq EV comes with LED headlights, seven airbags, 16-in. alloy wheels and premium audio system with 5-in. (12.7-cm) display screen. A high-spec Q variant offers an 8-in. (20-cm) touchscreen and JBL premium sound system with eight speakers.

The Ioniq Hybrid is powered by a 104-hp 1.6L 4-cyl. gasoline engine, with 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. Electric power comes from a 32-kWh Li-ion battery pack. Top speed is rated at 115 mph (185 km/h).

The plug-in hybrid has an 8.9-kWh battery with an electric-only range of 30 miles (48 km) under the Korean test cycle. It has the same engine as the full hybrid version.

The platform was developed specifically for the Ioniq and the Kia Niro, which also will be launched in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions.

U.S. sales launch for the new Ioniq family will be sometime in the fourth quarter. In Europe the car will hit showrooms this summer.
