Oil Refiner Says Enough Petroleum for Decades

TRAVERSE CITY, MI – ConocoPhillips Co., the largest U.S. oil refiner, is confident there is enough oil to support petroleum-fueled vehicles for 60 or 70 years, says Joe Kaufman, who follows alternative-fuel developments for his company. Hydrogen fuel cells won't be big business until 2030 at the earliest, he says, due to fuel-storage problems.
