The French automaker has pledged to install EV charging infrastructure at all its production facilities on the continent. It says nearly 500 charging stations will be implemented in 49 group sites spanning 12 countries.
The installation and management of the terminals will be provided by the automaker’s two partners for the project, Izivia and Total EV. These 7-kW wall terminals provide employees battery recharging at a price comparable to public outdoor recharging networks.
Xavier Chéreau, director of human resources and transformation for PSA, says, “While Groupe PSA is committed to the fight against global warming and forecasts to meet the 2020 CO2 targets set by the European Union, it simplifies the lives of employees who have already opted for clean mobility by facilitating the recharging of electric vehicles’ batteries at all its sites.”
