DETROIT – Jeep reveals the ’24 Gladiator here at the North American International Auto Show, describing it as the world’s most off-road-capable midsize truck.
The Gladiator will be available in Sport, Willys, Mojave and Rubicon trim levels. Two new models, Mojave X and Rubicon X, both feature an integrated off-road camera, steel bumpers and Nappa leather-trimmed, 12-way power adjustable front seats.
Standard equipment on all Gladiator models includes first- and second-row side-curtain airbags, 12.3-in. (31-cm) Uconnect touchscreen radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with improved speech intelligibility.
Open-air and off-road driving is enhanced by a folding windshield and three roof choices, available half-doors and removable doors (pictured, below), and factory application of Jeep Adventure Guides featuring off-road trail guides for 62 Jeep Badge of Honor trails loaded into the Uconnect navigation system. An upgradable subscription provides access to the full catalog of 3,000-plus Trails Offroad guides.

Gladiator’s standard 3.6L Pentastar V-6 delivers 285 hp and 260 lb.-ft. (353 Nm) of torque and is hitched to a standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 8-speed automatic with crawl ratios of up to 84:1 and 77:1, respectively. Engine stop-start is standard.
The powertrain is engineered to provide a broad torque band with a focus on the low-end torque that is essential for off-roading, hauling heavy loads or towing a trailer. Maximum towing capacity is 7,700 lbs. (3,493 kg) and maximum payload is 1,725 lbs. (782 kg).
The pickup offers more than 85 available active and passive safety and security features.
For the ’24 model year, Gladiator features second-row outboard seatbelts with pretensioners and load limiters, as well as structural improvements for side-impact performance.
