Kia Motors Corp. plans to stage the world premiere of its all-new 7-seat Carens next month in Madrid.

The new Carens will replace existing models in the second half of the year.

The new MPV is longer and wider than the current model, with optional 7-passenger capacity. Rear seats fold down to form a flat cargo deck.

The debut is set for May 25 at the Salon International del Automovil de Madrid.
