Ford Motor Co.'s Lincoln Mercury Division tells dealers that better quality and new products are up the road.

In a meeting with dealers, company executives say the automaker is determined to put an end to quality woes and recalls.

Lincoln Mercury dealers, who attended the meeting, say they are relatively satisfied with the franchise.

The manufacturer says that, in an attempt to bump up sales during the anticipated market slowdown, an early lease-termination program from Ford Motor Credit is in the works.
