Maserati North America Inc. ends a 2-month search for a top executive, naming a former Jaguar Cars North America Inc. official as its new president and CEO.
Marti Eulberg takes over atop the importer June 1, filling a slot vacated by the sudden departure of James Selwa in late February.
Eulberg leaves her post at Jaguar, where she held the position of executive vice president-sales and marketing. She has more than 20 years of auto industry experience, Maserati says.
Last year, Maserati North America sales rose 33% vs. 2006, an increase the importer credits mostly to the introduction of a 6-speed automatic transmission on its flagship Quattroporte sedan.
