Geneva Auto ShowTURIN – Visitors to the Geneva auto show, which opens its doors to the international press tomorrow (Feb. 28), should not expect a first look at the ultimate dream car from ItalDesign SpA or Pininfarina SpA Italian.

There will be no spectacular Maseratis, for example, at their exhibits. The design houses are too busy working on their patrons’ next show.

Giorgetto Giugiaro of ItalDesign unveiled his own Ferrari GG50 “fuoriserie” just four months ago in Tokyo, and Pininfarina is at work with a show car that likely will be star of the event at Pebble Beach, California, this August.

Next to his own Ferrari GG50, Giugiaro also will be presenting the new Fiat Sedici, or the Suzuki SX4, or both. ItalDesign developed the concept for both auto makers and finalized the look of the Fiat Sedici.
