Nissan North America Inc. reportedly will cut truck production at its Smyrna, TN, and Canton, MS, plants.

Nissan is set to take down the truck/SUV lines at the plants for three days over several weeks to cut the burgeoning inventory of light trucks by 5,600 units, reports The Tennessean. Workers will be asked to use vacation or personal days during those three days.
