The production version of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.'s upcoming fullsize pickup will be unveiled this January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Nissan sources say.
The fullsize pickup will go on sale next year as an '04 model. The pickup will be built at Nissan's under-construction Canton, MS, plant, exclusive to North America. Selection of a name is “under intense research right now,” says a Nissan spokesman.
The all-new fullsize pickup, says one Nissan source, will be powered by a new V-8 engine, rather than a variant of the 4.5L DOHC V-8 Nissan currently uses in its upscale Infiniti models, as was previously believed.
