Stellantis’ Citroën Brand Expanding to Indonesia

Stellantis says it believes the automotive market in Indonesia has bright prospects in the coming years.

French automaker Citroën names sole distributor for Indonesia.

Stellantis hopes to advance its Citroën brand in the Asian market with the appointment of the Indomobil Group as its sole distributor in Indonesia.

Andrew Nasuri, director at Indomobil Group; Vincent Cobée, CEO of Citroën; and Carl Smiley, Stellantis’ chief operating officer for the India and Asia Pacific region, attended a ceremony held in Jakarta to announce the Citroën brand coming to Indonesia.

In a statement, Stellantis says it believes the automotive market in Indonesia has bright prospects in the coming years. With this strategic partnership, Citroën will offer stylish, high-quality vehicles that will enliven the local market. The automaker will hope to benefit from Indomobil’s extensive reach through its official dealer network and service workshops.

Cobée says: “I am pleased to be a part of Citroën's launch in Indonesia. Citroën strongly believes that mobility should be accessible to everyone, and we want to offer more options that provide freedom of mobility to the people of Indonesia.”
