It's finally happened. And an attorney is the one who did it.

Kyle Boschen, a 31-year-old Denver lawyer is the first consumer to purchase a vehicle 100% on-line, according to DriveOff.com Inc. a new auto e-commerce firm, which made the cyberspace deal click.

Mr. Boschen, in his first retail Internet purchase of anything, configured his 1999 Isuzu VehiCROSS with all his desired options; customized the down payment and mileage allowance on his lease; reserved his vehicle; scheduled his delivery appointment and tracked the entire process completely on-line.

Of course, with his being an attorney, if something turns out wrong with the Internet purchase, Mr. Boschen can always sue. Maybe he'll even do it on-line.
