Nissan JV Debuts Premium BEV Sedan in China Eyeing Exports to Other Markets
Developed and produced in China, Nissan says the N7 is designed for urban consumers looking for a comprehensive suite of in-cabin technologies and connectivity.
Nissan’s joint venture with Chinese state-owned automaker Dongfeng unveils its first battery-electric vehicle produced on its own modular platform in the shape of the N7 sedan.
The premium-focused model makes its world debut at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou) with the target of reaching the Chinese market in the first half of 2025.
Developed and produced in China, Nissan says the N7 is designed for urban consumers looking for a comprehensive suite of in-cabin technologies and connectivity.
This midsize sedan employs Nissan's V-Motion design signature, showcasing a fluid and futuristic appearance. It measures 4,930 mm (16.2 ft.) long, 1,895 mm (6.2 ft.) wide and 1,487 mm (4.9 ft.) tall, with a wheelbase of 2,915 mm (9.6 ft.).
Cockpit technologies include an infotainment system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor.
Automated driving technologies on the N7, developed in partnership with China’s Momenta, include an advanced driver-assist system dubbed “Navigate on Autopilot.”
Nissan says the model is part of The Arc, its midterm production strategy that aims to speed up development of vehicles made in China aiming to export to other global markets.
