Arvin Industries Inc. will build a new, $4.5 million manufacturing facility in Merced, CA, that will supply exhaust systems and instrument panels for the Toyota Tacoma compact pickup. The new plant moves production from Madison, IN, closer to New United Motor Mfg. Inc., which builds Tacomas in Fremont, CA.
