JM Family Enterprises (JMFE) Inc., its associates and subsidiary Southeast Toyota Distributors, along with Toyota companies have donated $1.5 million in support of relief efforts in Florida, Alabama and other states hit by four hurricanes.

The funds provided food, water, shelter, counseling and other essential items to families affected by the August and September storms.

“Many of us in South Florida were lucky to have narrowly escaped the devastation of these storms,” says Jim Moran, founder and honorary chairman of JMFE, based in Deerfield Beach, FL. “As leaders in the community we must do everything we can to help our friends and neighbors recover.”

JMFE Chairwoman Pat Moran adds, “I am so proud of our associates for coming to the aid of one another, our Toyota dealers and the community. We had many associates volunteer for our search and restoration teams and make personal donations to the Red Cross.”
