Toyota Motors Sales U.S.A. Inc. says it is boosting prices on seven ’07 model vehicles an average of $136, or 0.7%.
The Yaris subcompact will see a $100, or 0.8% increase; the Corolla compact car a $100, or 0.6% rise; the Matrix goes up $150, or 0.9%, on average; and non-hybrid versions of the Camry midsize sedan will rise $200, or 0.9%.
Light trucks seeing increases include the FJ Cruiser SUV, up $200, or 0.9%; the Tacoma compact pickup truck’s price rises $100, or 0.5%, on average; and the RAV4 cross/utility vehicle sees an average price increase of $100, or 0.4%, Toyota says.
The new pricing is effective Jan. 15, for vehicles arriving from Japan on or after that day, as well as those built in North America beginning the 15th.
