Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. will take the wraps off the biggest version yet of its Tundra fullsize pickup truck, the Tundra CrewMax, at next month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Toyota is releasing few details on the CrewMax, other than to say it has four doors and offers “the most room, versatility and storage in the Tundra lineup.”

For the ’07 Tundra, Toyota is staging its biggest offensive yet against domestic fullsize pickups, offering three engine options and 31 model configurations for the truck that is being built in Princeton, IN, and at Toyota’s newly opened plant in San Antonio, TX.

Toyota’s press conference is set for Sunday, Jan. 7 at the Detroit show.
