Volkswagen of America has struggled for 35 years to meet expectations and maintain its market share against the rise of Japanese and South Korean automakers.

This year, its 75^th in the U.S., the German automaker, which manufactures vehicles in Tennessee and Mexico, is hoping to make some noise with an all-new 2025 Jetta, as well as the launch of the much-anticipated ID. Buzz EV, which is a homage to the Microbus of the 1950s, '60s and '70s.
