The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers have launched a membership drive at Mercedes-Benz International Inc.’s assembly plant in Vance, AL.
About 4,000 workers are employed at the site, which has seen two unsuccessful organizing drives by the United Auto Workers union.
Mercedes-Benz builds three cross/utility vehicles in Vance – the M-Class, R-Class and the new GL-Class.
