Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. says the Matrix hatchback with special edition M-Theory package will arrive in dealerships this month.
The Matrix M-Theory package adds exterior changes to the model including: Speedway Blue paint with matching rear deck lid spoiler; large chrome exhaust tip; and M-Theory badges.
Other changes include 17-in. Caldina alloy wheels with P215/50R17 tires; 4-wheel disc brakes; and sport-tuned suspension and sport strut tower brace.
Only 2,500 special edition M-Theory models will be built, Toyota says. The package will add $1,500 to the ’07 Corolla Matrix’s price of $15,260 (5-speed manual transmission) or $17,570 (XR trim with 4-speed automatic transmission).
Toyota has discontinued the all-wheel-drive Matrix and XRS models for the ’07 model year.
